Yeouido St. Mary’s Hospital said Monday that it has successfully conducted a highly difficult liver transplant between sisters.
Liver transplant cures a patient’s liver functions by removing the donor’s liver and transplanting it into the recipient to recover the organ to function. Professors Paik Kwang-yeol, Kim Yu-mi, Cho Se-hyun and Han Joon-yeol at the hospital conducted the surgery.
