Last week was chaotic for investors as global stocks suffered their worst declines since March.
The spark — flaring COVID-19 numbers and an edge-of-your-seat US presidential election probably means this week wont be any better.
The US election is due to be decided Wednesday (Aussie time).
Trump has consistently trailed challenger Biden in national polls for months, but polls have shown a closer race in the most competitive states.
And we all know what happened last time.
