On Monday afternoon QG Air Helicopter Rescue 500 was tasked by QAS to Purlingbrook Falls in the Gold Coast Hinterland to a patient who had fallen approximately 10 meters and had suffered a significant leg injury. The patient was stabilised by QAS and winched into Rescue 500 and transported to hospital. Thanks to the helpful bystanders who assisted and also QAS Paramedics on the ground who had walked in.#rescue500 #queenslandambulance #goldcoasthintherland #emergencyservice
