There’s no better way to sum up the efforts of our Local Ambulance Committees (LACs) and the value they have in their communities than this.
The township of Mundubbera has long been doing it tough with drought and bushfires affecting their livelihoods over the past few years. The local community was still incredibly generous in donating to our LAC, which in turn has been able to purchase an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) to give back to the community.
Handed over to the local IGA last week, this is a huge addition to the small farming town, ensuring that the locals know where it is in the event of an emergency, and how easy it is to use, should anyone need it.
Congratulations to the community of Mundubbera for being so giving during tough times and to the LAC for continuing to give back with some life-saving equipment.
