Rescue 510 on long distance winch retrieval from a bulk gas carrier 250nm east of Cairns.An ill crew-member required urgent medical treatment was winched off the vessel and transported to the Cairns base hospital after a Quick refuel at Willis Island. This was all done under the watchful eye of Rescue 330 the Cairns based Jet that provides us with top cover.
