The first piece of concept art is out showcasing Baby Gizmo and a young Mr. Wing in “Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai,” the animated prequel series currently in the works at HBO Max. Series writer Tze Chun confirmed that the show is a ten-episode, half-hour series set in 1920s Shanghai.
The series follows a ten-year-old Sam Wing, who becomes the shop owner Mr. Wing by 1984, and how he met the young Mogwai called Gizmo. Along with a teenage street thief named Elle, Sam and Gizmo take a perilous journey…
