Scientists discover 39 new gravitational wave events
The results provide new clues about how stars live and die The LIGO-Virgo Collaboration, involving researchers from the University of British Columbia, has confirmed 39 new detections of gravitational wave events, more than quadrupling the total number of known gravitational wave events from 11 to 50.
