‘Wunya Ngulum’ – welcome to Kabi Kabi country. ???? Every part of our Island home is Aboriginal country and has a series of stories that are unique to each edge of this place.✨ Noosa is home to the Kabi Kabi people whose land stretches roughly 100km south and 150km north of Noosa. ???? The Kabi Kabi’s rich and dynamic cultural heritage is tens of thousands of years old. It is ingrained in our landscape – from the flora and fauna, the oceans and waterways, lakes, wetlands and rainforest. This afternoon as we watch the sun go down, we listen to the soothing sounds of the didgeridoo & pay our respects to the traditional owners of this magnificent land, past, present & future, this Reconciliation Week ????
