The result of all this brainstorming was the creation of a new digital mobility platform called Placie, which allows users to compare eight different modes of transport to find the cheapest and fastest way to get from A to B.
The app, which is launching in test/beta phase in the coming months and be available next year, has access to real-time data from private- and government-owned bus and train networks, as well as taxi companies including 13Cabs, Ola, Silvertop Taxis and Black & White Cabs.
