During one meeting in July, Mr Haritos withdrew $8000 from the bank nine minutes before receiving a call from Mr Pinder. The pair then met in the foyer of V/Line’s offices on Flinders Street and went down to the car park. Soon after, Mr Pinder drove Mr Haritos out of the building in his own car.
