Back when Pat Sharp was still driving his kids to school, he would stop off along the way to pick up other children as part of a rota system. He remembers one of those children vividly. Whenever I looked in the mirror for traffic, he would just be going Sharp gawps down the lens of his Zoom camera for me, eyes vacant, jaw hanging down. He never said thank you, like the others.
