Hugh Grant reveals his one condition for doing a Notting Hill sequel: Happy endings are a ‘terrible lie’ – 9TheFIX
Hugh Grant has reflected on his experience working on hit romantic comedies and what it would take for him to return for a sequel.
The Notting Hill actor, 60, admitted he’d revisit a Notting Hill reboot if it explored life beyond the “happy ending.”
“I would like to do a sequel to one of my own romantic comedies that shows what happened after those films ended,” Grant joked via HBO’s Twitter page on October 25.
“Really, to prove the terrible lie that they all were, that it was a happy ending.”
