Bats are in the spotlight these days because they are supposedly the source of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that caused the coronavirus pandemic. But thats only part of their story. Bats turn out to be wondrous beings. Their ability to age without old age or cancer, and to fight off a wide variety of infections, gives us clues on how to do the same for ourselves….
