Yesterday the QGAIr Townsville helicopter received a call from AMSA for an activated non-GPS beacon North East of Bowen.

Boarder Force were on scene and identified one male on Nares Rock and an overturned boat near by. The QGAir Helicopter stayed on scene until a vessel from Bowen rescue arrived and cleared the person of any injuries before returning back to Townsville. #rescuehelicopter #rescue #helicopter #QGAir #Townsville #Bowen
