AFL Grand Final entertainment ‘rocked the stadium’, despite rain – Drive – ABC Local
The Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Tim McCallum performed a version of ‘Advance Australia Fair’ that rivalled the original.

The downpour on Saturday meant the half-time entertainment at the Gabba had to be altered, but it didn’t dampen the performance.
The QSO changed plans at the last minute to protect the percussion and brass instruments from the elements, but the music continued.
Tim Matthies, the director of artistic planning for the QSO, said it was “an amazing experience”.
