A Sydney eastern suburbs home, described as a touch like a museum in its advertising, sold under the hammer on Saturday for $1.4 million, despite needing a lot of work.
The two bedroom home, at 3 Walter Street, Bondi Junction, included an original 1930s kitchen and had peeling wallpaper in most rooms. It was the first time it had been sold in 75 years.
