Public Shark Report: QLD – PALM BEACH. 05:30, 14 Jan 20, Sighting from water, Public Report: ‘I saw a large fin at 17th ave Palm Beach this morning. I was in the surf at 5:30am. The back of the dorsal fin had a large split in it about 3 inches down from the top. It was very clear. The surf was really nice, but I paddled in straight away. He was heading north. There were guys in the surf at 13th ave (south of where I was. I sat on the beach and didn’t see any sign of it again this morning.’
