The “cold sore” virus harms fetal brains and causes their death
Chinese experts have warned that the cold sore virus, or as it is known as herpes simplex, can be transmitted to unborn children, harm their brains, and may cause their death. New research found that the herpes simplex virus (HSV-1) can be transmitted to the fetus during the mothers pregnancy, and may contribute to many developmental disabilities and long-term neurological problems, according to scientists at Wuhan University in China.
