Coronavirus: Fake COVID Marshals Try To Force Their Way Into People’s…
Scammers pretend to be COVID marshals and medics so they can gain access to peoples homes. Real COVID marshals have no authority to enforce social distancing, impose fines, or enter private property, the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) warned.
The organization said this scam was a version of a scam seen over the summer when fake health professionals offered fake coronavirus tests to get into peoples homes.
