Covid outbreak confirmed on two wards at Kildare Hospital
Two wards at a hospital, including a psychiatric unit in Co Kildare, deal with a Covid-19 outbreak. Health officials say an outbreak control team is treating the cases at two wards at Naas General Hospital and the Lakeview Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Unit based on hospital grounds.
A spokeswoman for the HSE said the outbreaks in the acute hospital were separate from the outbreak in the psychiatric ward.
Employees and patients were tested for Covid-19 as part of the contact tracking system.
