Fresh Covid plea from NHS as Lanarkshire hospitals hit 90 per cent capacity – Daily Record
More coronavirus patients are being treated now than during the first peak of the pandemic.
NHS Lanarkshire hospitals are now at 90 per cent capacity and treating 220 patients with Covid-19.
The health board says they are now treating more coronavirus patients than during the first peak of the pandemic.
A further 44 people are being treated in Lanarkshire for suspected Covid-19.
At the height of the pandemic, 9279 people attended emergency departments across Lanarkshire.
In September this increased by over 6600 to 15,898.
