10 gigawatt farm will be visible from space and power 1m people in Singapore’s population via the world’s longest undersea cable

An Australian outback cattle farm is to host the worlds largest solar farm that will supply power to more than a million people in Singapore.
The 10 gigawatt farm in the Northern Territory will span 12,000 hectares and be visible from space by the time it is generating electricity in 2027.
It will supply up to a fifth of Singapores electricity needs via the worlds longest undersea cable nearly 2,300 miles long from a giant solar battery on the Darwin coast.
