PS5 Cooling Performance Is The Same Regardless If Console Is Horizontal Or Vertical – PlayStation Universe
Sony has revealed that the PS5 cooling performance is largely the same regardless of what position the console is resting.
Yasuhiro Ootori, mechanical design department VP at Sony Interactive Entertainment, has revealed that there’s no difference in terms of cooling performance on the PS5 if the console is placed horizontal or vertical.
Interestingly, however, Ootori-san prefers the console placed in a vertical position.
