A mother of four, whose brain cancer worsened when her chemotherapy was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has died.
Emma Jenkinsons case sparked a significant push for better access to treatment for cancer patients during the lockdown in the UK.
Her husband, Andrew Jenkinson, announced her death on a GoFundMe page set up to support the family of five.
He said Emma was reacting well to treatment prior to her chemotherapy sessions being paused in March amid the countrys first lockdown.
