Hospitals bring back visiting restrictions amid sudden jump in Covid deaths – Derbyshire Live

A significant increase in the number of deaths at Burton and Derby hospitals has meant visitor restrictions have been reintroduced with immediate effect.
The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, which runs both hospitals, yesterday reported one patient had died overnight on Saturday.
And today’s figures show that, since then, another nine have died within 28 days of a positive test.
