Blizzard Is Officially Ending Development on ‘StarCraft 2’ – PCMag AU
The ‘StarCraft’ team is freeing themselves to “think about what’s next”.

Blizzard is looking to wind down further development on real-time strategy game StarCraft 2.
In a recent blog post, the developer announced that it would be ending production on additional “for-purchase content” for the game in the near future. While balance fixes and other updates will still be a priority, there will be no new content produced for the title. Instead, the team will be focusing on “what’s next” further down the line.
