Liverpool mayor Joe Anderson has announced his brother is in a serious condition in hospital with coronavirus.
In a statement this evening, Mayor Anderson said his brother is currently in intensive care at the Royal Liverpool Hospital after contracting the virus.
Sharing the news in a heartfelt post on Twitter, Mayor Anderson urged people to watch a video taken from inside the hospital’s intensive care unit and to follow the rules.
