Former AC/DC bass guitarist Paul Matters has died after years of ‘ailing health’ – 7NEWS.com.au
A friend has remembered the rocker as a man who loved to party and make people laugh.

The former bass player for one of Australias most famous and hard-rocking bands has died.
Paul Matters played bass for AC/DC in 1975, before being fired by late lead singer Bon Scott.
Matters stint in the legendary band was brief but he was known as the bands pretty boy.
He joined after the release of their powerhouse debut, High Voltage, but was gone within weeks.
Matters was replaced by bassist Mark Evans, who went on to play with the band until 1977 before joining Rose Tattoo.
