“Youre not going to get gas through an import terminal cheaper than the Narrabri gas project, I know that looking at the numbers,” Mr Gallagher said.
A spokesman said that since Santos had submitted its environmental impact statement for the project, in 2017, it had reduced connected well costs by 84 per cent at its Queensland coal seam gas business, and that experience would be brought to the Narrabri project.
