China coal fears grow as rival nations keep shipping – The Australian Financial Review
Australia’s coal industry is increasingly fearful that political tensions are behind Chinese import bans, as rival nations continue to sell into China.

”Tecks steelmaking coal sales to China have not been affected,” said Teck spokesman Chris Stannell.
Trade minister Simon Birmingham said on Tuesday he had sought information from China about the trend, but Mr Birmingham’s office had no update on those efforts on Thursday.
BHP chairman Ken MacKenzie said he would be concerned if the deferrals were driven by political tensions.
