ASX to fall near 1pc at open, Wall St ends lower – The Australian Financial Review
Australian shares are set to open lower, dragged down by global equities and rising virus cases in Europe and the US. $A slides.
As for the fight against COVID-19, there was no positive developments overnight.
First, J&J said it would take a few days to review its halted clinical trial following an unexplained illness in a study participant, possibly delaying results on one of the most closely watched efforts to contain the global pandemic.
Later, Eli Lilly and Co said that the government-sponsored clinical trial of its COVID-19 antibody treatment has been paused because of a safety concern.
