Preclinical data for the COVID-19 vaccine candidate shows efficacy and benefits

A COVID-19 vaccine candidate that underwent extensive preclinical testing at the University of Alabama in Birmingham during the spring and summer shows strong preclinical immune responses including several that differentiate it from other COVID-19 vaccine approaches, according to a preprint stored in the BioRxiv repository differ this week.
