Mercedes-Benz Australia has issued a recall notice for a total of 1140 AMG performance models due to concerns around their on-board safety systems.
The German car-maker says incorrect programming of the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) software may cause affected vehicles to brake at inappropriate times, potentially increasing the risk of a crash or injuries and death of vehicle occupants and other road users.
