But Rhys James’ friend has finally tested negative and can go home after eight weeks

A Welshman who has been stuck in Italy for eight weeks because he keeps testing positive for coronavirus has been his describing his devastation at testing negative on his most recent test.
But he is pleased that one of the friends stuck with him has been allowed to return to the UK.
Rhys James, a 23-year-old from Pembroke Dock, and his friends Quinn Paczesny, 20, and Will Castle, 22, were teaching English in Florence before they tested positive for coronavirus on August 17.
