Jarden swoops on 10 new hires; unveils equity research team – The Australian Financial Review
Kiwi investment bank Jarden has put the finishing touches on its local equity research division.

Research head Gilbert who was with UBS for 15 years and was ranked No.1 in the annual Peter Lee Associates survey last year for retail research told Street Talk his team’s primary focus was on “generating real alpha for clients”.
“What we’re really trying to focus on is taking a longer term view of research… and putting clients first,” he said.
He said the team would use a sector-based coverage approach to research, as opposed to an index-based model.
