Aware Super back at OptiComm with $6.50 a share bid – The Australian Financial Review
Aware Super has ramped up the bidding war for ASX-listed fibre infrastructure company OptiComm.
The $6.50 a share offer also includes a dividend, worth 10¢ a share, sources said.
It comes after Aware – which has changed its name from First State Super in recent weeks – earlier bid for OptiComm, only to be trumped by rival bidder Uniti Group.
Uniti has matching rights associated with its agreed deal.
Uniti’s offer is at $5.85 a share and the company also has its hands on a 19.9 per cent stake, including shares and options.
If Aware’s bid lands as expected, it is hard to see how OptiCom…
