Regarding the survey results, when looking at the BMA supporting law change for self-administration, 40% of doctors support vs 33% oppose.
61% of doctors either believe the BMA should support or be neutral.
These results cannot be ignored, the BMA must now respect the result and remove their opposition to assisted dying. Parliament can then decide the best course of action moving forward; it is very clear they have be encumbered by the BMA’s opposition to date despite overwhelmin…
