Ukraine’s medical system could break down because of a surge in new coronavirus cases and the number of hospitalised people, the country’s health minister warns.
Ukraine registered a record 5397 COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to Thursday, up from a record 4753 new cases on Wednesday.
The number of deaths grew by 93 and reached 4690, Maksym Stepanov told a televised briefing.
