Early release super third round ruled out – The Australian Financial Review
Superannuation Minister Jane Hume says the government will not extend its controversial scheme allowing early access to retirement savings into 2021.
She said the scheme had been embraced by the community, especially Victorians, who she said are still subjected to “severe lockdown” with “tumbleweeds and ‘for lease’ signs on the street” in inner-city Richmond, where her electorate office is located a thinly veiled swipe at the state Labor government.
