Millions of people have downloaded the new NHS COVID-19 app – but what happens if you get a notification?
Users of the app, which is used to identify those who could have come into contact with a confirmed coronavirus case, are reporting receiving a message about “possible COVID-19 exposure”.
The notification states that it is “verifying exposure info” and “the app has accessed the date, duration and signal strength of this exposure”.
