More than two thirds of Australians want state borders reopened by Christmas as confidence in the public health response to coronavirus continues to climb.
But there is very little hope for anyone wanting to see friends and family in Western Australia this summer.
Most other states are gradually easing their border restrictions as coronavirus case numbers come under control.
South Australia is extending its buffer zone with Victoria and Queensland is on track to reopen to NSW from next month….
