The Deputy First Minister has warned that further Coronavirus restrictions are “going to be necessary”.
Northern Ireland’s Executive will meet this Thursday to discuss tighter measures, as Covid-19 cases in Northern Ireland continue to rise each day.
On Tuesday, The Department of Health reported a daily rise in cases by 669 and also recorded that in the last seven days 4,005 individuals have tested positive for the virus.
