How to see shooting stars in our skies this week – Hull Live
The Draconid meteor shower will peak on Thursday
Shooting stars are streaking across the UK’s skies this week as the Draconid Meteor Shower puts on its annual show.
The event is visible in clear skies across the UK from October 2 to October 16.
And if you want the best chance of seeing a shooting star then Thursday is the day to do it as that is when the shower will peak, reports The Mirror.
Shooting stars will be visible as fragments of comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner burn up in our atmosphere.
