Sydney stockbroker loses legal battle with former bodyguard – Sydney Morning Herald
Michael Kodari hired a martial arts champion whose job included driving him around Sydney in a Maserati, the Federal Court heard.
Mr Tran was provided with a company car a Mercedes S-Class, and later a 2015 Maserati and chauffeured Mr Kodari around Sydney. He also had a broad brief to manage the administrative side of the business.
But the professional relationship soured on November 11, 2016, shortly after Mr Tran had engaged a law firm to prepare standard employment contracts for staff.
