There are signs the Government’s ‘rule of six’ is starting to slow the spread of coronavirus, according to a new study.
The prevalence of infections in England is still much higher than it was at the end of August but the R number does appear to be improving, Imperial College has said.
The findings come after Prime Minister Boris Johnson pleaded with Britons to obey the rules imposed to tackle a rapidly accelerating second wave of the coronavirus.
