Melbourne and Sydney house values tumble through September – Sydney Morning Herald
House prices in the eastern cities have continued to fall but there are signs of support in other capitals across the country.

In Sydney, house values fell by 0.2 per cent last month after a 0.5 per cent drop in August.
Over the past three months, Sydney house values have edged down by 1.7 per cent although so far this year they are still in positive territory, up by 1.5 per cent.
Values of Sydney apartments fell by 0.5 per cent in September to be 1.5 per cent lower over the quarter.
Nationally, dwelling values dropped only by 0.1 per cent.
