Product Safety Australia has issued a new warning for thousands of Corolla vehicles nationwide.

Toyota has issued a major recall for a number of Corolla models over fears airbag defects could cause injury or death.
Product Safety Australia says more than 6,000 cars are affected by the issue.
The vehicles airbag inflator propellant can degrade over time, meaning the metal housing could explode if the car is involved in a collision.
