With the likelihood that things will never quite be the same following the pandemic, eight new laws are being brought in at the start of October that will change how things work in the UK.
There has been a huge impact on the economy and many of the new laws reflect efforts to improve the situation including legislation for the new job retention scheme, replacing the furlough scheme, changes to the state pension age and payments of £500 to those self isolating.
