Infections in the city have increased by 72 per cent in the last week

Bristol is potentially two weeks away from recording a similar rate of coronavirus infections as three areas of South Wales which will be placed under local lockdown from tomorrow.
There were 88 new cases recorded in the city in the week ending September 22, an increase of 72 per cent from 51 in the previous week.
The current rate of infection in the city stands at 19 cases per 100,000 people, but if the outbreak continues to grow at the same rate, that number would increase to 56 cases per 10…
