ST. LOUIS —More than 200,000 people in the U.S. have died from COVID-19 so far this year.
Beverly Hobaugh died Sunday.
The 59-year-old from Missouri became infected with the virus in August despite taking precautions like wearing a mask and using hand sanitizer, her twin sister told KMOV-TV.
“I was terrified,” her sister, Sheila West, told the TV station. “I knew there was a great chance I was going to lose her.”
